Paul Johnson is a member of the firm’s transactional practice. His practice focuses on drafting private placement memoranda for private securities offerings under Rules 506(b) and (c) of Regulation D of the Securities Act of 1933, with a particular emphasis on real estate related securities, including Delaware statutory trusts and offerings of undivided tenant in common (TIC) interests in real estate.
While in law school, Paul clerked for the William & Mary Federal Tax Clinic and the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic. In addition, he worked for a large law firm as a reviewer of injury claims for a complex mass tort case.
In the summer of 2019, Paul lived in downtown Yangon, Myanmar while serving as a legal research fellow for an open data platform provider. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and cooking.
