Complex Tort Attorney
We have an opening for an attorney to join our complex tort litigation team, which serves as national and local counsel for companies involved in asbestos and silicosis litigation, product liability litigation, transportation litigation and other general tort claims. Job responsibilities include preparing for and trying cases for our corporate clients, the oversight of discovery directed to our firm’s clients (including the preparation of discovery responses and management of document productions), assisting in the preparation and defense of company fact and expert witnesses, and the management of local counsel across the country.
The successful candidate must be a team player with strong organizational, leadership and management qualities, exceptional writing abilities, and a high level of attention to detail. A minimum of three years’ litigation experience is required.

Junior Legal Assistant
The ideal candidate for this position is enthusiastic and motivated to help serve clients and support our litigation practice. Responsibilities include preparing and editing legal documents and correspondence; maintaining electronic files; calendaring; making travel arrangements; meeting/conference scheduling and other special projects.
A strong candidate will have good time management and organizational skills; be a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team; have strong attention to detail and superior proofreading skills. Must be proficient in the MS Office Suite.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of one year of law firm experience in an administrative/legal secretary capacity, OR one year of administrative assistant experience outside of the legal field.

Receptionist/Office Assistant
We are looking for an energetic people-person with strong communication skills to join our collegial environment. The successful candidate must be highly organized and resourceful. At least 1-2 years’ experience in an office setting is preferred.
This full-time role will serve the following needs:
- Greeting all visitors and maintaining scheduling for firm conference rooms
- Assisting with coordination and set-up of meetings and firm events
- Managing mail, FedEx and UPS packages, courier deliveries
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Tracking and replenishing office and kitchen supplies
- Serving as liaison with vendors for maintenance requests, equipment issues
- Assisting with overflow projects including but not limited to profiling in DMS, preparation of letters and documents, formatting and researching
All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Law firm experience is a plus. The schedule is M-F, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
