This important role provides paralegal support on product liability, toxic tort, commercial and other litigation matters from case inception to trial. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents (pleadings, discovery responses, etc.), identifying and utilizing technological solutions, managing data collection efforts, coordinating and scheduling depositions, trials, mediations, etc., reviewing records, communicating with witnesses, trial prep, and more.
We seek a paralegal with at least three years of complex litigation experience demonstrating strong project management, communications, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills that reflect our values of respect, dignity and kindness. Extensive knowledge and experience working with document management databases and other types of litigation technology are also required. Experience implementing and training other users on legal technological solutions is a plus. Travel is sometimes necessary.

Legal Assistant – Transactional / Real Estate
This key role within our transactional and real estate team combines both paralegal and administrative functions. Responsibilities include generating client-ready written communications, assisting attorneys in the review and preparation of documents, submitting government filings, and providing a broad range of administrative functions (travel & expense reporting, preparing documents, coordinating matter setup and billing, etc.).
At least two years of paralegal/legal assistant experience in a private law firm supporting real estate, securities, or other types of transactional practice areas is required. This position also requires one to be highly proficient using MS Word, Adobe, MS Excel, and other business/law firm software applications. We seek a detailed-oriented team player who possesses excellent organizational, communications and interpersonal skills that reflect our values of respect, dignity and kindness. A Bachelor’s degree is also required; a paralegal degree or certification is a plus.
