Products Liability/Toxic Tort Litigation Associate
We currently seek a litigation associate for our complex litigation team. Qualifications include 1-3 years of complex litigation, product liability and/or toxic tort defense litigation experience that demonstrates strong analytical and legal writing skills. We seek a talented nurse paralegal to work with our medical malpractice defense team who will enthusiastically embrace our firm’s values and culture. Position responsibilities include, reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing medical records, identifying expert witnesses, researching medical issues, etc.
Qualifications include at least 10 years of clinical experience as an RN and a bachelor’s degree. Prior legal or insurance medical review experience is preferred. We seek a talented, take-charge, experienced litigation paralegal with a passion for technology who will enthusiastically embrace our firm’s values and culture. This is a key role within our civil litigation team, which specializes in products liability, toxic torts, commercial and other types of litigation. The purpose of this role is to assist our attorneys from case inception through trial. Responsibilities include providing project management of cases, identifying and utilizing technological solutions, handling large discovery and data collection efforts, etc.
Qualifications include strong project management skills with team leadership capabilities, being well-organized and detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that reflect our values of respect, dignity and kindness to others are also required. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of complex litigation paralegal experience are also desired.
