Rebecca Roberts is an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation Practice Group, where she represents clients in a broad range of complex civil matters, including commercial litigation, product liability, premises liability, and constitutional officer claims. She is known for her thoughtful legal analysis, persuasive advocacy, and commitment to achieving practical solutions for her clients.
Rebecca earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School, where she was a member of the Bill of Rights Journal. She is deeply involved in Virginia’s legal community, currently serving as vice chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, a member of the Richmond Bar Association, and an incoming board member of the ACLU of Virginia. Rebecca received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Fluent in French, Rebecca was born and raised in the south of France, bringing a unique perspective to her legal practice. She spent summers with her mother in rural South Jersey, an experience that gave her a distinctive appreciation for cultural nuance, adaptability, and communication across diverse communities—qualities that continue to shape her approach to advocacy and client service.
Before law school, Rebecca managed a community-owned food cooperative in Santa Barbara, California, where she navigated the challenges of a fast-paced, mission-driven business. In that role, she developed strong problem-solving skills, adapted quickly to changing circumstances, and led a diverse team of employees. The experience deepened her ability to manage competing interests, think strategically under pressure, and communicate effectively with people from all walks of life—skills she brings to her legal practice every day.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys running, cooking, and reading historical fiction.
