Associate Attorney: Transportation, Trucking, and Logistics Litigation
We are seeking a motivated mid-to-senior associate attorney or Of Counsel to join our transportation practice. Our transportation, trucking, and logistics litigation team defends catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, freight and property claims, regulatory compliance, risk management, and employment matters. Moran Reeves Conn attorneys also get involved in supply chain and logistics management matters. This position encompasses all aspects of case development, including legal research and writing, fact and expert witness preparation, taking and defending depositions, appearing at court hearings, and assisting with trial preparation and trial.

The successful candidate must be a team player with strong organizational and leadership qualities, exceptional writing abilities and a high level of attention to detail. At least three to six years’ litigation experience is required. 

Complex Tort Attorney
We are searching for an attorney to join our complex tort litigation team. Our team serves as national and local counsel for companies involved in asbestos litigation, product liability litigation, transportation litigation, and other general tort claims. Job responsibilities include preparing for and trying cases for our corporate clients, the oversight of discovery directed to our firm’s clients, assisting in the preparation and defense of company fact and expert witnesses, and the management of local counsel across the country.

The successful candidate must be a team player with strong organizational, leadership and management qualities, exceptional writing abilities and a high level of attention to detail. A minimum of four years’ litigation experience is required. 

Litigation Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal. The successful candidate will assist our attorneys from the initial incident through trial by:
Providing project management of cases and claims (e.g., establishing & communicating timelines, follow-up with attorneys, etc.
Preparing pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents
Issuing FOIAs and subpoenas, tracking document collection, and review of documents
Coordinating and scheduling depositions and trials
Communicating with witnesses and clients
Preparation for mediations and Judicial Settlement Conferences
Collaborating with attorneys in the preparation of deposition and trial exhibits
Serving as a trial paralegal

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and leadership capabilities; they will be detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required. Superior knowledge of technology is preferred. A four-year college degree and at least two years of complex litigation paralegal experience are also desired. Occasional travel is required for this position.
