Mark T. Parent

Mark Parent is an associate on the firm’s transportation team who helps motor carriers and freight brokers navigate complex personal injury disputes arising from roadway incidents.

Mark brings the courtroom experience he gained as an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina to the firm’s transportation team. As a prosecutor, he tried numerous felony cases to jury verdicts, including eight homicides. Having handled complex and sensitive matters, drafted motions, prepared and examined expert witnesses, and coordinated cases on appeal, he is well equipped to assess cases, develop effective defense strategies, and advocate for motor carriers and freight brokers in high-stakes disputes.

In addition to practicing law, Mark was an Adjunct Professor at Wake Forest University School of Law, teaching Trial Practice and coaching trial teams for four years. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, reading history, and spending time with his wife.
