Moran Reeves & Conn congratulates Kate McCauley on her induction as President of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys at the VADA’s Annual Meeting at The Homestead.
Kate’s practice includes the defense of complex litigation matters, as well as medical malpractice, employment disputes, and product liability. She is a well-known speaker on a variety of topics from health care and human resources risk management to social media in the work place and ACO liability. At the same time, Kate has authored articles for a variety of medical and legal publications and the University of Richmond Law Review, where she has been an Adjunct Professor of Law for 14 years. She is active in a number of professional legal associations and has been recognized by her peers as a Virginia Super Lawyer, Virginia’s Legal Elite, Best Lawyers®, and in 2013 she was named one of the Influential Women of Virginia. Kate received her B.A. from the College of William & Mary and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law, Pennsylvania State University.
