Amanda Short is an associate attorney in the health care law section, where she works on matters primarily related to medical malpractice. Prior to joining MRC, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David E. Johnson of the Chesterfield County Circuit Court.
Before law school, Amanda worked as a paralegal for a personal injury solo practitioner. She gained considerable experience during law school through internships with the Fredericksburg Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and the Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit of the United States Department of Justice. Further, Amanda externed for the Henrico Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and the Honorable Marla Graff Decker, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys Pilates, reading, traveling, and volunteering.
